I was showing my mom my review photos and she was like, ‘See, you’re pretty. You got your looks from me.’ My mother, ladies and gentlemen.
Well, I didn’t really ‘get’ to, as I searched hard for it and it’s a pretty confusing and arduous process. But, I know it’ll all be worth it once I’m actually at KU! So I’m super excited ^^
I’m so mad bc I want to put all of Joonyoung’s new album on my blog but the music player is messing up my description no matter where I put it ugh
Okay, I think you’re referring to enrolling as a regular, 4-year undergrad in a Korean university, correct?
In that case, most schools require a Level 5 on the TOPIK. L5 is… hot damn. Really good. As in, good enough to take classes entirely in Korean, which means listening to lectures, reading assignments, writing essays… all in Korean.
HOWEVER. There are several schools that will accept less, so long as you agree to enroll in Korean classes and take them during your entire time there (or until you hit the required level.) I know Korea University will accept less than a 5, and my friend Lifelovekorea is enrolled as an undergrad at Hanyang right now too. So, I’d say just do your research and find out the individual requirements for your top schools. Don’t be shy to send emails either!
To the anon that asked about knowing Korean while studying at schools they were looking at applying to - refer to this. I’ve just never had the problem of having to meet a requirement for my level of Korean - and that very well could be because I plan on studying at Korea University which accepts students that are below level 5 on the TOPIK. Although I do plan on taking Korean language classes for the entire duration of my stay (or until I meet the requirement level.)
Of course! I love you too dear anon~ ^^
Ahaha, yeah, no problem. I wish you the best of luck in your love endeavors (╯｡◕‿◕｡)╯♡
